Dr. Agyeya Trippathi is a certified Social Auditor, Qualified Research Professional and Multidisciplinary Consultant in Social Sector. Dr Agyeya has been associated with SAN, India since 2018.

He leads SAN India operations in North and North-East India. He has attended the master class in Social Accounting and Audit conducted by Ms. Latha Suresh, Ms Marie Banu and Ms Archana Pillai of SAN, India in 2018. He has audited the social accounts of Single Teacher School (STS), Chennai and has been instrumental in handling various other impact assessment, social impact reporting and evaluation projects for projects focused upon financial inclusion, heath care, agri-value chain, youth employment and waste management.

General Background

Dr. Agyeya holds a Ph.D. in Business Management, MBA in Marketing & Finance and M.Sc. in Electronics & Communication. He is a National Resource Person for Financial Inclusion under Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India and has been recently selected as Mentor of Change for Atal Innovation Mission. He is also associated with DMI, Patna as guest faculty and with Skydive Consulting as Associate Consultant for International Projects.

He has more than 13 years of experience working in small and medium-size development projects funded by SDC, UNCDF, UNDP, IFC and World Bank in India, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Papua New Guinea. A large part of his professional engagement around 8 years was with Basix, a Social Enterprise Group. His experience and competency revolves around Inclusive Finance, Agriculture value chain, Enterprise Development, and Entrepreneurship.

Agyeya is passionate and competent to analyse how business can play a more direct role in creating sustainable livelihoods for stakeholders beyond the shareholders. His competency lies in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Impact Assessment, Training and Capacity Building, Primary and Secondary Research and Knowledge Management.
